Unknown Warrior’s Name

This project is a dedication to all unknown warriors across the world, regardless of what they fight to achieve. As a former black belt AAU/JKA National Shotokan Karate Champion, Beaufort High wrestler, and amateur pugilist in college; I want to express in this project that the spirit of a warrior, known and unknown, never disappears for any one of us. That warrior spirit remains in all warriors’ chests until death. We’re abnormal in response to danger and risk, but what we sacrifice for makes all of us unique.

This music video is especially inspired by the Assyrian martyr and hero Yousib Toma Hurmiz, who is an example of a hero for the indigeneous Assyrian Christian movement in the Middle East. He was executed by Saddam Hussein in the 80s for fighting for Assyrian Christian rights in Iraq. His last words before execution are put in the video and recited by John Georgees to exemplify true heroism and courage.

This music video also entails the Ninjitust Kuji-In Finger Meditation, Shotokan Karate Kata Enpi, and boxing defensive mechanics as the Jack Dempsey Roll, parries, bob and weaves. All I learned and impart on students of fighting today. Please enjoy 🙂

It was shot on Canon 70D and edited by Sony Vegas and filmed in Duhok and Erbil, Kurdistan / Iraq. Music was recorded and mastered in Tone Studio by Mehdi Noori.

Much thanks to him: https://www.facebook.com/tonestudiodu…

Special thanks also goes to Yousib Toma Hurmiz’s son, Ninab, who I met in Duhok Kurdistan / Iraq.
